The Station
Star FM launched with much fanfare in 2002. Back then Star FM was called Sea FM which would have made more sense if we were closer to the ocean. In 2005 some bright spark decided that Star FM was better.
From Melbourne's South East Suburbs, through the Latrobe Valley and past Traralgon. From the slopes of Mount Baw Baw to the beaches of Inverloch and Phillip Island. It's a wide, varied and beautiful land. A land of contrasts, surprises and all the biggest hits are on 94.3 and 97.9.
